Monitoring was undertaken at the site of the redevelopment of a dwelling-house and associated services at Lissadell Lodge, Strand Road, Portmarnock. The site is near an Early Christian complex, SMR 15:7, a church and graveyard. The site was stripped of topsoil using a toothless ditching bucket to reveal the subsoil present at a depth of 0.25m below the surface. No archaeological features were uncovered during the course of monitoring.
