Monitoring of harbour dredging works was undertaken in five areas at Dún Laoghaire Harbour, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. The sites are in the asylum harbour in Dún Laoghaire, east of the marina, and in the area of the ferry terminal. Works involved the use of a suction dredger and bed leveller to remove material that had silted up, impeding the Stena ferry from using the harbour.
A significant amount of modern material was recovered, but nothing of archaeological significance was noted during monitoring of the dredging works.
