Testing to the rear of 20–22 Clanbrassil Street, Dublin 8, was undertaken in advance of development. The proposed development involves the construction of a two-storey house to the rear of No. 20 Clanbrassil Street. One long trench (22m by 1m) was excavated to the rear of the existing buildings at 20–22 Clanbrassil Street. Nothing of archaeological significance was recorded during the testing.
