This work was carried out before the construction of a new changing-room facility at Meanscoil Iognaid RÃs, CBS, Drimnagh. The area is located partially within the zone of archaeological potential surrounding Drimnagh Castle, hence the requirement for monitoring. A series of trenches was excavated across the site, none of which produced any archaeological material or features.
