Excavation in the townland of Balally, Co. Dublin, revealed a double-ditched enclosure probably associated with the nearby Early Christian church. Both ditches had been heavily truncated during 18th-century landscaping when the area became part of the Moreen House demesne. Finds included a medieval rotary quern, as well as coarse local medieval ware. No structures were identified.
