Monitoring of topsoil removal at Carrowdore Quarry, Co. Down, took place from 23 to 27 June 2003. The site, which is near SMR 7:14, a cropmark of a possible enclosure visible on an AP taken in 1962, was being stripped in advance of a programme of enlargement at the quarry. Nothing of archaeological significance was observed during the investigation.
