Testing was carried out at Trimragh, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, on Friday 10 January 2003. The proposed development, which is close to a church and graveyard, entails the construction of a house, puraflo system and associated services.
Six test-trenches were excavated. Bedrock presented immediately below topsoil in most cases. An approximately 1m-deep deposit of modern debris and dumped material presented in Trench 1.
