Monitoring was carried out at Stragally Bridge, Stragally, Co. Donegal. It was noted that this bridge may be the site of an older crossing. A wade survey was carried out on 13 August 2003. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
The proposed development is located approximately 15km west of Ballybofey, Co. Donegal. The existing two-span composite bridge spans 20m across the River Reelan. The development entails replacement of the existing bridge at the subject site. This required the removal of bank material and the bridge.
Monitoring was carried out in September 2003. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
