A request for further information, requiring testing, was issued in order to progress an application for a Grant of Planning for the construction of two dwellings at Ballymee, Doneraile, Co. Cork. The initial phase of testing identified the line of a pair of fosses defining the southern side of a levelled trapezoidal enclosure (SMR 17:72(02)). The proposed house for this site was abandoned and testing of a new site was carried out. No other features or artefacts of archaeological interest were found during the course of the test-trench investigations.
