Planning permission was granted for an extension to a factory complex at Wallingstown, Little Island, Cork. The proposed development site lies partially within the zone of archaeological potential for a church and graveyard and Wallingstown Castle. Monitoring of groundworks was carried out in November 2003. No finds or features of an archaeological nature were noted during monitoring.
