Monitoring was carried out during topsoil-stripping prior to the development of the eastern and southern parts of the site, other areas of the site having been monitored and excavated in previous years by Avril Purcell under the same licence (Excavations 2001, No. 229; Excavations 2002, No. 345). No finds or features of archaeological interest were noted during this phase of monitoring.
