Pre-development testing was carried out at 22 Vicar Street, Cork, in advance of the construction of an extension to a dwelling. The site was located within the zone of archaeological potential for Cork city (SMR 74:122). The excavation of two test-trenches indicated that no archaeological features were present within the development area.
