Monitoring was carried out on groundworks during development. No features or finds were revealed. A metal detector survey was carried out on the portion of the bed of the River Bride which ran through the site which had been diverted from its original course (licence 03R118). The partially dried-up riverbed was investigated with a metal detector following its diversion. A significant amount of modern rubbish was revealed; no finds of archaeological significance were identified.
