The development of a single house at Clooncunning, Clonakilty, Co. Cork, was within the constraint zone for a ringfort and possible souterrain; monitoring was required, and the establishment of a 20m buffer zone around the monument. Monitoring was undertaken on 4 April 2003 and no archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered.
