The site of a new dwelling-house is located within the zone of potential of a ringfort, enclosures and field system (SMR 17:72(01, 02, 03, 04) and 17:133), located midway between Doneraile and Buttevant. The monuments are located to the north of the site. Stratigraphy consisted of 0.3–0.4m of topsoil over orangey-brown subsoil. All were archaeologically featureless.
