The removal of topsoil for a new housing scheme in Rosslevan, Ennis, Co. Clare, was monitored over a period of three weeks in September 2003. The development involves the construction of 83 dwelling-houses and ancillary works. No archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered during this initial phase of groundworks at the site.
