Survey and metal detection work continues along the AD 1598 battlefield of Yellow Ford in Co. Armagh. To date this work has identified the line of march taken by the English force and various places of engagement between that force and the Irish army in the modern landscape. Archaeological finds include various military accoutrements and lead shot, along with many items of civilian and social interest from the intervening centuries.
