Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted in the monitored mechanical excavations during the blocking of old mine adits at Toberagnee, Templepatrick, Lyles Hill, except that inside some of the adits were the remains of mining carts, etc. These were sealed inside, because entering the old adits was considered to be too dangerous.
