Monitoring took place on 7 January 2002 of ground reduction work at Bachelors Walk in Wicklow town to facilitate the construction of a two-storey office building. The site was to the rear of the Assembly Hall and within the zone of archaeological potential of Wicklow town. It measured 13.2m east–west by 8.9m. No archaeological features or artefacts were discovered during the digging of the foundation trenches.
