The licence previously held by Bernice Molloy (Excavations 2001, No. 1351) was extended to monitor the reopening of a number of test-trenches for inspection by a consultant geologist. The trenches were relocated, and the previous findings, that SMR 13:22 and 13:23 are geological in origin, were confirmed.
