Monitoring of topsoil-stripping before a proposed residential development at Ballywaltrim Grove, Bray, Co. Wicklow, was carried out on three occasions in June, July and August 2002. No features, structures or deposits of archaeological significance were identified. Finds consisted of unstratified sherds of modern pottery, an elongated ferrous object of unknown origin and two flint flakes. The monitoring is to continue in 2003.
