Monitoring of topsoil-stripping took place in the area of a number of potential archaeological features found during testing by Ruth Elliot in 2001 (Excavations 2001, No. 1331). This work revealed a potential medieval habitation site and two fulachta fiadh excavated by Angus Stephenson under licences 02E0425 and 02E0609 (No. 1953, Excavations 2002).
