An assessment took place of a commercial development adjacent to Wexford Farmers’ Co-op in New Ross. The site lay 400m outside the medieval town walls. Two trenches excavated by machine across the development area revealed topsoil overlying the substratum. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
