Planning conditions required the monitoring of a housing development site at Ballygarran, Kilmuckridge, Co. Wexford, as a ringfort (SMR 22:20) was situated in the south-western part of the site. A buffer zone of c. 20m was established around the ringfort, and monitoring of Phase 1 of the development took place from 28 February to 1 March 2002. No archaeological remains were uncovered.
