This site was at the base of a north-facing slope. It consisted of a subrectangular trough that measured 2.2m (east–west) by 1.4m. It was not possible to ascertain the depth of this feature, as there was a natural spring at the base. The trough was filled with fragments of fire-cracked bone in a black/brown, clayey silt. A low mound in the adjoining field may indicate the presence of the associated burnt mound.
