This site was on low-lying pastoral land on a gradual north-facing slope. The pipeline passed through a tract of marshy land to the north. The site extended beyond the northern limits of the pipeline corridor into the adjoining field.
The deposit was very mixed and appeared to have been considerably disturbed, probably by modern agricultural activity. It measured 6m (north–south) by 5m and was c. 0.1m deep, consisting of fragments of burnt angular limestone in a deposit of black silty clay. No cut features were exposed on excavation of the mound.
