This site was on a gradual south-facing slope on the margins of a shallow boggy area to the west. There was a narrow stream to the south. The full extent of the site was not visible, as it extended under the stockpile and beyond the southern limit of the pipeline corridor.

The mound measured 9m (east–west) by 4.5m. It was 0.22m deep but is likely to have been considerably truncated. The mound consisted of a deposit of fragmented stone in a dark brown, silty clay. On excavation, no cut features were exposed underneath.
