This site was on a gradual north-facing slope, on low-lying pastoral land that was liable to flooding. This site was on the northern edge of the pipeline corridor and extended beyond the northern limits of excavation. It was truncated to the east by a modern field boundary.
The burnt mound measured 5.5m (north–south) by 5m. It was considerably truncated by ploughing and survived to a depth of only 0.05m. The mound was removed, but no cut features apart from shallow plough furrows were exposed underneath.
