Monitoring of ground disturbance and topsoil-stripping for a residential development of eleven houses at Market Hill, Ballymore, on behalf of Westmeath County Council, was conducted on 1 and 2 May 2002. The site is within the zone of archaeological potential of Ballymore. Monitoring was undertaken only in relation to the final house in the scheme. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
