This site was on low-lying pastoral land on the margins of a shallow bog on the northern edge of the pipeline corridor and extended beyond the northern limit of the excavation. It was cut on the eastern side by a land drain. A low mound was visible in the adjoining field, which is likely to be the intact mound. It measured 8m (north–south) by 7m and was 0.05–0.15m deep. The deposit consisted of angular burnt stone (mainly limestone) in dark brown/black, sandy, silty clay. No cut features were exposed beneath the mound.
