This site was on a south-facing slope overlooking Ballinderry Lough, on the northern edge of the pipeline corridor. It is likely that the site extends farther north, beyond the limit of excavation. The pit measured 1.1m (east–west) by 1m and was 0.35m deep. It was filled with a friable, black/brown clay that contained frequent inclusions of fire-cracked limestone and occasional charcoal. A deposit of burnt stone south-west of this feature measured 1.9m (north–south) by 1.13m and was 0.15–0.25m deep. This deposit is likely to be rake-out material from the pit.
