The monitoring of a development associated with the construction of a house at Toor, Nenagh, did not reveal anything of archaeological significance. The site was within the zone of potential of a ringfort (rath/cashel). The stripping revealed topsoil, 0.3m deep, overlying a natural silty clay with frequent shale inclusions.
