The development, consisting of residential infill, was on the northern outskirts of Roscrea town. A circular clump of trees at the centre of the site was found to mark the burial-ground of twelve domestic appliances. These consisted of white goods, predominantly washing machines. A late-model Ford Escort car had also been left on the site and appeared to have been abandoned. Monitoring did not reveal any finds or features of archaeological significance.
