Monitoring took place of groundworks associated with the construction of sixteen apartments and four townhouses at 52–55 Silver Street, Nenagh. The development was within the zone of archaeological potential of Nenagh. Derelict buildings were demolished along the street front, and the general stratigraphy of the remaining area was a layer of topsoil, 0.3m deep, overlying a red/brown boulder clay. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during the works.
