Monitoring of the extension to a property on Sarsfield Street revealed nothing of an archaeological nature. The site was within the zone of archaeological potential of Nenagh. Foundation trenches were dug through a concrete floor, 0.2m deep, and a modern foundation, 0.3m deep, which overlay natural boulder clay.
