Monitoring was carried out of topsoil-stripping for the construction of a new toilet block, showers and laundry on the footprint of a demolished public toilet building on the bay front at Dromineer, Co. Tipperary. Trenches for associated services were also monitored in the vicinity of the building. The sod and topsoil were 0.3–0.7m deep and came directly down onto natural subsoil. No archaeological features were exposed.
