A proposed dwelling-house at Ballywire is inside the constraint area of field systems and an enclosure. SMR 66:123 (enclosure) lies c. 400m to the west. Monitoring of topsoil-stripping was carried out on 18 August 2002. Nothing of archaeological significance was observed.
