A structural survey was carried out on a building at 6 The Lungy, Sligo. It appeared to be of late 19th-century date. It was proposed to build a block of apartments on the site after the building was demolished. No fabric of antiquity was evident in the building when demolished. The six trenches excavated contained rubble material from the recent past. The southern half of this site had been excavated in 2000 by Anne-Marie Lennon (Excavations 2000, No. 904), and the licence number was retained.
