The site is on the outskirts of Sligo town, immediately west of the existing Finisklin Industrial Estate, and is currently occupied by agricultural land surrounding a farmhouse known as Fort Garry House. Monitoring of groundworks associated with the development is continuing. To date, no archaeological features or deposits have been exposed.
