The site of the proposed development, a large hotel and apartment complex, including parking facilities, access road and services, is on the Roscommon Road, on the outskirts of the village of Lanesboro, Co. Roscommon. Four 130m-long trenches were excavated across the site. No archaeological features or finds were revealed.
