This excavation exposed a scatter of brushwood and roundwood on the surface of a Bord na Móna production field in Ballybeg Bog, Co. Offaly. The site measured 1.8m in maximum width and was traced for a length of 2.6m. It was composed of around twenty brushwoods arranged sporadically throughout the cutting. The site did not have any structure or orientation. Only one piece of wood was worked, and it is difficult to determine the function of this site. It may represent stray pieces of wood, possibly from one of the larger toghers or sites 135m to the west and east of this site.
