An estate of eighteen houses is under construction. The monitoring condition imposed by the planning authority was not complied with during some of the construction; Dúchas therefore requested an archaeological assessment, including testing.
Eleven trenches were excavated to subsoil levels in front of and behind some of the houses that had been built. Nothing was noted in the trenches. Four more trenches remain to be excavated.
