Testing was undertaken at the site of a proposed extension to Platin Quarry in Carranstown, Co. Meath. A geophysical survey was conducted by GeoArc Ltd (detection device licence 02R119), which indicated several features of archaeological potential. The testing revealed that the geophysical anomalies are of no archaeological significance.
