All ground disturbance on the Aghagower Public Street-Lighting Scheme was monitored. Trenches for electrical conduits were excavated in roads within the protected areas of Tóchar Phádraig and Aghagower ecclesiastical remains. One layer containing occasional charcoal and bone was identified at the base of a trench but was left in situ. No further archaeological remains were revealed.
