Donaghmore 5, on a steep, north-facing slope, was heavily truncated by modern ploughing, as a topsoil depth of only 0.15m afforded it little protection. A charcoal-rich pit with fire-reddened sides was identified. From the upper, southern rim of this pit a blue glass bead of possible Early Christian date was recovered. No other features or artefacts were found.
