This feature was excavated before the laying of the Newcastle to Clareville rising main, at Rivers, Stradbally. The feature was an irregular spread of charcoal material measuring 2.1m east–west by 0.8m. It overlay undulating, natural clay. A sherd of post-medieval pottery was recovered from the charcoal fill.
