This site was examined as part of Bord Gáis Éireann’s Pipeline to the West. A single shallow pit or spread was excavated. This feature was oval, measuring 1.07m by 0.64m, and was 0.07m deep, with an irregular, shallow profile. The fill, or spread material, was a black/brown silty clay with a moderate amount of charcoal and occasional small stones. No artefacts were recovered, nor any material suitable for obtaining a radiocarbon determination.
