Monitoring took place of groundworks associated with the construction of a house at Ballyroe Upper, Kilfinnane, Co. Limerick. The development was near an enclosure and road. Topsoil, 0.2m deep, overlay the natural subsoil, which contained patches of red sandstone bedrock. Nothing of an archaeological nature was discovered.
