Pre-development testing was undertaken on the fourth phase of a residential development of 28 semi-detached houses at Cedarville, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick. No archaeological conditions had been imposed on the previous phases. Fourteen trenches, 2m wide and averaging 10m long, were excavated on the footprint of the houses. No stratigraphy or artefacts of an archaeological nature were uncovered.
