The excavation of a narrow trench for the laying of an ESB cable took place at Church Lane, Manorhamilton. The trench was c. 1km long, all of which was laid along the public streets. It passed along the street frontage of a star-shaped fort and a church and graveyard situated along Church Lane. No archaeological features or finds were revealed during the excavation.
